Four star quaterback places University of Alabama in his top three choices

Four-star quarterback Kingston Preyear narrows his schools down to just three according to Rivals: Alabama, Vanderbilt, and Florida. He is set to make a commitment on July 10th, with Alabama being favored and predicted as his pick. Kingston is a rising high school junior and will join the 2028 lineup at his chosen college.

Preyear is an extremely talented quarterback who would be a great addition to the Alabama Crimson Tide 2028 lineup. Standing at 6'4" and weighing 200 pounds, Preyear is already set for an NFL career in high school. He is also a multi-sport athlete playing football, basketball, baseball, and track and field, in which he has an 18-foot-1 long jump and a 5-foot-2 high jump as a freshman. He is ranked as the #3 quarterback in the nation and the #39 player in the nation.

His high school career is seen as phenomenal and is just getting started. As a freshman, he led Montgomery Catholic to a 9-0 season and to win an AHSAA 5A state championship. He finished with 20 touchdowns and over 1,700 yards in completed passes.

After transferring ahead of his sophomore year to Benjamin Russell, he led the Wildcats to a 12-2 season, a 6A region title, and a spot in the Class 6A state semifinals. He finished with 34 touchdowns, over 3,000 passing yards, and 518 rushing yards on the ground.

In high school football, Preyear played with current Crimson Tide route runner Cederian Morgan. If Preyear selects Alabama, it's possible the pair could team up again, but this time on Saban Field.

Alabama is looking ahead to scouting for the 2028 class, and a commitment from Preyear would be great for the 2028 lineup.
