Bama Brief aims to tell all stories across Alabama no matter how big or small. Every story matters and should be told.
Our Story
Samuel Perkins founded Bama Brief in an effort to attempt to create a large-scale news network for all Alabama news. Many existed at the time, but Samuel felt he could do better and create his own version of his vision for an Alabama network.
Early concepts came from the University of Alabama's C&IS CAMP. He was inspired there and met many interesting people who told him to create what he envisioned in his head.
